Keep Your Purse Organized

Create a smaller space for each item type within your purse.

Nothing is more frustrating than searching desperately for a lost lipstick swimming in the depths of your cavernous purse. If you carry a large purse or tote and need a better way to access its contents, you can do so with a little purse-cleaning and a few small organizational items. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Start by dumping everything out of your bag. Get rid of anything you don't need or use on a regular basis. Get a compact key-chain wallet that holds your ID, debit/credit card and maybe a little change if necessary, along with your keys. That way if you need to run somewhere quickly to pick up something, you don't have to lug your big bag with you -- and everything you need to make a purchase is right there with you since your keys are attached.

2. If you have a few small pouches or mini makeup bags laying around, use them to combine things that collect at the bottom of your purse, like lip balm, bandages or stain remover pens. If the mini-bag is clear or opaque, that will make it even easier to find what you are looking for.

3. Carry an envelope or an accordion-style organizer with clasp to keep receipts, coupons and lists from getting damaged in your purse. It will also help you find things much faster.
