Keep Sheets & Towels Smelling Fresh In A Closet

A closed closet door can trap odors inside with your sheets.

Odors can seep into your closet from many circumstances. The linen closet is usually located near the bathroom, and because of this, is very susceptible to the moisture pouring out of the bathroom after a shower. It can also obtain smells from the walls or air vents. Keeping your towels and sheets smelling fresh in the linen closet will require a little bit of work on your part, but the end result is well worth the work. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Turn on the closet light and keep it on. This helps to remove the moisture from the closet, and with it, the moldy and musty smells that accumulate from moisture. The light does not need to be on for 24 hours a day, but an hour a day can work wonders.

2. Leave the closet door open to air out the closet. Keeping the door closed all the time will trap in odors.

3. Place a dryer sheet in the closet to keep your sheets and towels smelling fresh.

4. Place carbonate crystals, activated charcoal or baking soda into a container and place the container in the closet. All three of these materials absorb odors.
