Don't expect cats cradle to keep the girls at your party entertained for hours.
Are you throwing a slumber party for your daughter and all her friends? Then you will definitely want to be prepared with a list of games they can play to keep them entertained and from complaining about boredom. Don't worry if you can't think up any games on your own, there are a lot of games that girls of any age will have fun playing together.
Super Hero Closet
Ask all the girls to bring old Halloween costumes and dress up items to the party (note it on the invitations). Place all the items they bring into a walk-in closet or small room. The girls will take turns going into the closet, coming up with a superhero and throwing on a costume to match. They will then come out of the closet and announce to the rest of the party what superhero they are supposed to be.
Find Your Stuff
For younger girls, you can have them bring a few of their stuffed animals, older girls can bring a few items that have to do with their interests. Put all of the items into a big pile and have one girl at a time try to find her items in the pile while she is blindfolded. The girls who find their items while blindfolded win.
Guess Who
Give each girl a sheet of paper and have the girls write facts about themselves that they don't think the other girls already know about them. Collect all the sheets of paper and cut them into strips with one fact appearing on each strip. Now put all of the strips in a bowl and draw out one fact at a time. Have the girls try and guess who the fact belongs to. The first girl to guess correctly keeps that strip of paper. The girl with the most strips at the end wins.
Psychiatrist
Choose one girl to be the doctor and have her leave the room. Have the remaining girls decide on a problem that they have. The whole group can have the same problem or each girl can have her own issue. Then have the girl who is the doctor come back in the room. She now interviews her patients to try and decide what her problem is. If the doctor guesses correctly, then she wins. If she gives up, then the group wins. Just make sure that you let the doctor know if the whole group has the same problem or if each girl has her own issue.
