Install A Ventilated Shelf Closet Rod

Ventilated closet shelves, also called wire shelves, are made of steel with an epoxy-coated finish. These shelves typically come in white, but are available in other colors. Ventilated closet shelves provide a durable storage space, including a rod for hanging clothes, and do not collect as much dust as traditional shelves. These closet shelves are simple to install and require only a few tools. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Empty your closet and place your belongings on a nearby bed.

2. Unpack the ventilated closet shelf rod and take out the shelf, as well as the four mounting brackets.

3. Hold the ventilated shelf along with the mounting brackets against the wall where you will be installing it. Mark the location of the holes in the brackets on the wall with a pencil.

4. Select a drill bit that is slightly smaller in diameter than your plastic anchors. Drill pilot holes through the pencil marks into the walls.

5. Insert plastic anchors into the pilot holes and tap flush with the wall using a rubber mallet.

6. Fasten the mounting brackets to the wall using a screw gun and screws. Place the ventilated closet shelf onto the brackets to finish the installation.
