Give Your Wardrobe A Makeover

Think about your personality and who your influences are when changing your wardrobe

Whether it's for work or for special occasions, it's always a good idea to change your wardrobe occasionally so that you'll have a more stylish and updated look. While you don't have to imitate the celebrities' latest styles, you can get some inspiration from them and combine what you like about their styles with your own personality. You should also choose outfits that flatter your figure and that are comfortable at the same time.

Instructions

1. Ask a friend to shop for clothes with you. While at the stores, pick out a few outfits and let your friend see you with them on so she can give you an honest opinion about the outfits. Also tell your friend what kinds of outfits you're interested in and ask her to look for items based on your preferences.

2. Read articles in fashion magazines. Pay special attention to advice you see on choosing the right clothing for your body type, which colors and patterns are currently popular, choose the best accessories and makeup and choose a good hairstyle that's age-appropriate and stylish.

3. Incorporate your personality into your new wardrobe. If you're the type of person who loves vintage items and music from the 1970s, visit both vintage and department stores to get outfits which reflect your love of this decade. Or if you prefer sporty but still feminine outfits because you have an active lifestyle, look for outfits that combine these two qualities.
