Passenger train service in the United States is led by Amtrak, which offers service throughout the country. Amtrak's Southwest Chief train travels daily between Los Angeles and Chicago with one of its stops at the Amtrak station in downtown Flagstaff, a city in northern Arizona. The station is enclosed and is within walking distance of Northern Arizona University, which includes the NAU Art Museum and concerts by the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra at NAU's Ardrey Auditorium. Several hotels are within a mile of the Amtrak station as well.
