Clean My Closetmaid Canvas Hanging Shoe Organizer

ClosetMaid hanging canvas shoe organizers provide a clutter-free option to house the family's shoes, from sneakers to heels. The organizer also is ideal for storing other household items, from gardening tools to cleaning supplies. After time and repeated uses, the organizer will become dirty and dusty, making the canvas seem dingy. Cleaning the ClosetMaid hanging canvas shoe organizer properly will help ensure that the items stored remain clean and protected. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Remove all of the items from the shoe organizer. Remove the organizer from the closet or door.

2. Grasp the ClosetMaid shoe organizer from the bottom and while holding it upside down, shake it above a garbage can or outside. This will remove any dirt or dust that is found inside the individual pouches.

3. Prepare a mixture of 1/2 tbsp. mild dish detergent and 2 cups warm water.

4. Dip a soft plastic scrub brush into the detergent mixture and clean the outside of the individual canvas pockets.

5. Dip an unwanted toothbrush into the mixture. Use the toothbrush to clean the inside of the pockets. The smaller brush will allow you to get inside all of the nooks and crannies of this smaller area.

6. Rub the entire surface of the organizer, both inside and outside, with a damp cloth. This will remove any remaining dirt or dust and wash away the soapy mixture.

7. Hang up the ClosetMaid canvas organizer and allow it to dry completely before filling it with shoes, cleaning products or your children's toys.
