Bathroom Closet Storage Ideas

Use the bathroom closet to store your bathroom items.

A bathroom is often a small room that needs to store many things, including a hairdryer, toothbrush, makeup, toilet paper, towels and other items. If you have a bathroom closet, utilize the space to make storage options to suit your needs and your bathroom items. Organizing your closet space can help you to find things more quickly. Does this Spark an idea?

Installing Hanger Unit

If you have a full closet for storage, install a curtain rod for hangers so towels and other items take up half the closet space. Although you should not store actual clothing in the bathroom due to the increased humidity in the room during showers and running hot water, you can use the space to hang wet or damp towels up to dry. You can also use the space to store your housecoats.

Installing Shelving Space

Install shelving space in the closet to store larger items that cannot be stored in drawers, including toilet paper rolls, towels, washcloths and beauty devices, such as hairdryers and heat curlers. Shelving space allows you to store items when you are not using them but easily find them when you do need them.

Installing Drawer Unit

Drawer units should be installed to store smaller items, such as makeup, deodorants and lotions, among other beauty products. Drawers can be installed above or below shelving units in the bathroom closet. Drawers allow you to organize your items according to who uses them and what they are used for. For example, you can put all of your beauty products in one drawer and all of your skincare products in another. This organization will help you if you are looking for a specific product.
