Purchase Tshirts At Wholesale Prices

Whether you're printing jerseys for your husband's softball team, customizing T-shirts for a family reunion or simply stocking your closet with plain white tees, buying shirts wholesale is a simple process that anyone with a computer and a charge card can accomplish. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

Where to Go

1. Search for the best wholesale T-shirt bargains online using search engines such as Google or bing. As with many products, T-shirt bargains are better on the Internet. Three popular wholesalers are American Apparel, Gildan and Jones T-Shirts.

2. Visit a warehouse location not far from where you're at if you prefer. Some of America's favorite T-shirt sellers, such as American Apparel and Gildan, have warehouse locations. Online orders also are made easy on both companies' sites.

3. Research wholesalers that ship all over the world if you plan to send T-shirts internationally.

How Many?

4. Determine how many T-shirts you want to purchase in order to find the best bargains. Wholesale deals often come in a predetermined quantity: American Apparel usually offers between 84 and 144 shirts per case. Jones T-Shirts sells their shirts in blocks of 1, 12, 36 or 72. Gildan is a bit more lenient, allowing customers to determine a specific amount of shirts and pay per item.

5. Think about what fabric you are looking for. Cotton T-shirts or 50/50 are the most popular choices.

6. Consider the style you want: Fitted, cap sleeved, traditional, long or short sleeved are some options.

How Much?

7. Figure out what wholesaler delivers the best product for your budget. Jones and Gildan offer the same product at similar prices -- as of August 2009, each T-shirt was typically $3 or less before shipping. Both wholesalers charge a set price per shirt. American Apparel is a name brand and charges more per shirt than either of the other companies.

8. Consider the level of quality you're looking for in a T-shirt and consider your budget when determining the T-shirt you will purchase.

9. Weigh the pros and cons for each wholesaler before determining which one to order from. Although American Apparel's quality and variety might be better, it is a slight improvement, and if budget concerns you at all you might prefer to go with Jones or Gildan. There also are myriad other wholesalers online.

Placing an Order

10. Log on to the wholesaler's site after you have determined how many shirts you're looking for, what style you desire and which wholesaler you've settled on.

11. Join the site as a wholesaler before making your purchase; all this takes is registering yourself with a user name, e-mail address and your order information. This is often required.

12. Receive your account approval and information from the site, log in, find what you're looking for and order your merchandise.
