Find Free Baby Clothes

Find free baby clothes

Children grow fast and baby clothes are fairly expensive, but you have a lot more to worry about than how you're going to clothe the little one. If you don't mind second-hand baby clothes and you love saving money, you can find free clothes for your baby.

Instructions

1. Tell people you're expecting. Pregnancy regularly earns a woman free baby clothes. Moms who have recently cleaned out their children's closets are always looking for someone in need of clothing their child has outgrown. The more people you tell you're pregnant, the more free clothes you'll likely gather for your baby.

2. Ask your friends with kids, especially young kids, if they have any baby clothes that they want to get rid of. Sometimes moms are unsure of how other moms feel about used clothing, so they may not offer them.

3. Visit online classified and recycling websites. When evaluating postings for free baby clothes, look for listings that include photos in addition to detailed descriptions of the clothing so you'll know what you'll be getting.

4. Visit your local consignment shop and inquire about trading clothes your baby has outgrown for bigger ones.

5. List baby clothes on your registry. If you include clothing on your registry, people are more likely to purchase some as a baby shower or new baby gift.
