Factory Reset A Sonos Player

When you have a Sonos Zone Player, you can play music in your home from programs such as iTunes, SiriusXM Satellite, Internet radio stations, Pandora and Rhapsody. You can use the Zone Bridge along with the Zone Player to set up multiple players in your home. The handheld controller is used to control which music plays on your Zone Player. If your Zone Player starts to malfunction, performing a factory reset offers little benefit. For that reason, you should only do a factory reset when you want to register your product under a new email address.

Instructions

Zone Player and Zone Bridge

1. Unplug the power cord for your Sonos player.

2. Press and hold down the player's "Mute" button. If you are resetting the Zone Bridge, press and hold down the "Connect" button.

3. Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet, while continuing to hold down the device's "Mute" or "Connect" button.

4. Look at the status indicator light. The light should change to an amber color. Once the light starts flashing green and white, the factory reset is complete.

Handheld Touch Screen Controller

5. Touch the "Settings" option on your handheld controller.

6. Select "Controller Settings" and "Advanced Settings."

7. Open the "Music" menu. Select "Factory Reset." The controller will automatically reset to factory default.
