Ikea is a worldwide retailer that sells everything from furniture to toys to holiday decorations. The Swedish store is well known for its home furnishings. You can shop at Ikea in person or online, and almost everything you find in the store you can find online and have shipped to your home or office. Shopping at Ikea online saves you time and it offers benefits such as easy returns. You can return items purchased online either in-person or through the mail.
Instructions
1. Go to the Ikea website (ikea.com) to begin shopping online. Have your credit or debit card on hand to make any purchases.
2. Locate the products you want to shop for by clicking on the appropriate link at the top of the Ikea homepage. For example, if you are shopping for kitchen products you can click on "Kitchen" and be directed to all of the kitchen products.
3. Purchase items by clicking on them to view the product information and clicking "Add to Cart". Choose the number of each item you want before adding it to your cart. When you are finished shopping and ready to check out, go to your cart by clicking on "My shopping cart" at the top of the page.
4. View the items in your cart to ensure you want them in the correct quantities. Click "Begin Checkout". Enter your shipping and billing information, which includes your name, address, email address and phone number. Select a shipping method and enter your credit card information. You must enter your card number, expiration date and the three-digit security code located on the back of your card.
5. Confirm your order before submitting it. Keep a copy of the confirmation page for your records.
