Create More Storage Space In The Bedroom

Creating extra storage space in a bedroom makes the room neater.

Clutter builds quickly in a bedroom, turning it from a relaxing place, to one of stress and anxiety. Adding storage space will make the room more organized and neat, improving the room's ambiance. Keep the bedroom clean by using storage bins and other storage items that help remove clutter from the room and free up space. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Remove any unnecessary items from the bedroom, such as garbage and office supplies. Dispose of trash and put any items that do not belong in the bedroom in their proper place. This will free up extra room and remove clutter.

2. Add storage containers to the bedroom. Place side tables with cupboards or drawers next to the bed to use as lamp stands and to store items like extra bedding or nighttime medications.

3. Use flat rolling storage bins to keep items underneath the bed. These can be used for off-season decorations and clothing, bedding for a guest room and other items that are needed only occasionally. The flat rolling bins make the items accessible but keep them out of sight in the bedroom.

4. Hang an organizer in the closet to store items like hats, gloves, scarves and infrequently worn items of clothing. Put frequently worn clothes, like work clothes, closer to the front of the closet to keep them accessible and use the closet organizer to free up more room.

5. Hang a shoe organizer on the back of a door and hang shoes in it to keep them off of the floor and in one neat location. Shoe organizers make it easier to make sure shoes are not cluttering up a bedroom.
