Park Around Reliant Stadium In Houston

Reliant Stadium, housed in the Reliant Park complex, is a multipurpose facility in Houston, Texas, that is home to the National Football League Houston Texans, the Texas Bowl and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. It opened Aug. 24, 2002, and was the first stadium to have a retractable roof, allowing natural sunlight to shine through the top of the dome. With a stadium that sees so much activity throughout each year, finding a parking spot can be a challenge. Luckily, there are ways you can successfully park around Reliant Stadium.


Instructions


1. Print out a copy of the Reliant Park Directional Map from the Reliant Park website. Follow the directions based on where you are coming from. For example, if you are driving north, then you are driving from the south. If you are driving east, then you are driving from the west. You can tell which way you are driving by using the GPS unit in your vehicle. Additionally, specific directions are given if you are driving from Hobby Airport or George Bush Intercontinental airport.


2. Enter the main gate according to the directions given in the Reliant Park Directional Map. You will now choose the lot in which you want to park your vehicle. A variety of lots are close to Reliant Stadium, such as the North Kirby Lot, South Kirby Lot, McNee Lot and Murworth Lot. Consult the Reliant Park Site Map, which you can download from the Reliant Park website, to find get to these lots.


3. Drive into the lot of your choice and pay the parking fee (if there is a a fee). Once you have paid a fee, you will be free to park inside the lot and either walk to the stadium or use transportation, such as a shuttle bus, that the stadium provides.
