Champions: Return to Arms" is an action role-playing game that was released for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) in 2005. The game is set in the same game world as the EverQuest series. The difficulty of the game can vary based on the difficulty setting and the class the character chooses to play. The game has several glitches that can be exploited to allow the player to cheat.
Infinite Attribute Points
The effectiveness of the attacks, spells and defenses of each character in "Champions: Return to Arms" is based on the character's attribute points. There is a glitch early in the game that allows players to cheat and gain an infinite amount of attribute points. Kill the boss in the first level, but do not press the "Select" button to level up when prompted. You should instead walk into the portal right behind the boss area. This leads to a bonus level with four horsemen. Press the "Select" button and distribute the attribute points you have as soon as you enter the bonus level. You then should allow the horsemen to kill you. Select "Try Again" from the death screen. You will restart the level, but you will have more attribute points to distribute by pressing "Select." You can repeat this process over and over to add as many attribute points to your character as you wish.
Dozekar Exploit
Dozekar has a glitch in its AI that allows players to cheat when fighting him. The only requirement is that you will need to have enough arrows, throwing axes or mana to defeat him with ranged attacks. The amount you will actually need will vary greatly based on your class, level, attributes and skills. Run towards Dozekar at the beginning of the fight and hold the block button. He will begin to breathe fire. Slowly walk backwards while holding down block. Wait until you walk just past the length of his flame and stop. You can now attack him with ranged attacks and spells without any risk. He will keep using his fire attack which will not be able to reach you for the entire fight.
Critical Hit Glitch
The "Critical Hit" skill in "Champions: Return to Arms" grants an aura that causes characters inside the aura to have a chance to deal extra damage with each attack. This skill is only supposed to affect the caster and any other player standing in the aura. However, a glitch causes this skill to affect any other player no matter where he or she is located. This makes an already useful skill even more valuable.
