Kill Mold In Your Closet

Mold growing in closet

Mold is one thing that you do not want growing in your home. Mold is a health hazard and can increase allergies and airborne pollutants. Mold should be removed as soon as possible, depending on the severity of the problem will determine how it needs to be removed. However, if its minor and you need a quick fix to stop the growth...i have a solution for you! Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Clear the area where the mold is beginning to grow. Cover any carpets with rags or old towels. These may be ruined if the bleach gets on them, so make sure these are not items you want to keep. Place a mask on and make sure there is plenty of ventilation in the room. Pour about 1/2 cup to 1 cup of bleach in your spray bottle.

2. Once you have that ready, you may want to just put on a mask to keep the fumes out of your lungs. Bleach solutions are very strong and can become very overwhelming if you are not in a well ventilated area.

3. Spray the bleach directly onto the mold and problem area. This should stop the mold from growing and becoming an out of control problem. Please be advised that this is only for a small area. The mold may have to be cut out of the wall if the area is to big or too overtaken. This is only a solution for a minor mold problem. I tried this in our closet and it did work. The mold was just beginning to grow at that point.
