5. Save the plastic bags that comforters and linens come in and use them for blanket storage. They come in a variety of sizes, and sometimes more than one blanket will fit in a bag. Stack them on a shelf or store them under a bed for a dust free storage environment.
6. Use vacuum storage bags if you have limited storage space. You place blankets in the bag, close it and use the suction of a vacuum hose to pull the air out through a special one-way valve. Once you remove the air, and the bags are flat, allowing you to store several bags stacked on top of each other in less space.
