Organize A Trouser Rack

Organizing your trouser rack is a painless process.

Organizing your closet can make your daily routine simpler and keep your clothes in top shape. Most people neglect one piece of clothing in their pockets in particular: the trousers. Organizing your trouser rack can be a much easier and quick process than organizing your shirt rack, though. Pants have a simpler shape than shirts, making them easier to handle and hang. Getting your trouser rack in order can make your pants last longer and increase the available room in your clothing area. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Lay out your trousers. Pile trousers of the same color into groups. Rearrange the groups of trousers into a color-coated line with the darkest pile on one side and the lightest on the other.

2. Hold the pants up and fold them in half. Wipe out the wrinkles in the pants and hang them on a plastic or a wooden hanger. Pull them through the hanger until the waist of the pants and the leg cuffs hang at the same length as each other.

3. Hang the pants on your trouser rack based on their color. Put the darkest of the trousers on one end of the rack and then hang them so the trousers on the rack get progressively lighter.
