Use Pant Hangers

Using pant hangers keeps your pants in ready to wear shape.

Although simple to wear, pants are not the easiest item to store. They frequently slip off typical hangers and can make your closet crowded and bulky. Using pant hangers instead of regular hangers can alleviate many of these problems. Pant hangers save closet space by eliminating the need to double pants over and give your closet a neat, uniform appearance. Additionally, pant hangers help prevent wrinkles and save you the time and hassle of ironing your pants with each wear. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

Pants Without a Crease

1. Lay your pants out on your bed or a flat surface. Fold the pants in half vertically so the inner and outer seams of each leg are aligned.

2. Lift the pants off the bed and hold them against your body with one hand. Use the other hand to smooth out any wrinkles.

3. Clamp the pant hanger onto each end of the waist of the pants. Make sure the waist lays flat in the hanger and does not bunch in the clamps.

4. Hang the pants in your closest so that they have space around them. Cramming your pants between other clothing can result in wrinkles.
