Hang A Curtain For A Closet Door

Hang a Curtain for a Closet Door

Substituting curtains for a closet door is a great way to add softness to a bedroom. Curtains are also more user-friendly in a small space than large, awkward bi-fold closet doors. Homeowners who are looking for a great solution for cramped bedrooms or missing closet doors can easily install a curtain in their closet. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Decide where you want the curtain to hang from. If you want the curtain to hang from inside the closet, a tension rod will work perfectly. On the other hand, a curtain rod hardware set will be perfect if you are hoping to create a drape-like appearance over the closet opening.

2. Use a measuring tape to determine where the curtain rod or tension rod needs to be placed. With a pencil, mark the wall where the hardware needs to be placed so that the curtain will be level.

3. Attach the curtain rod hardware to the wall. If you are using a tension rod, you can skip this step.

4. Place the curtain(s) on the rod and hang.
