Ideas For Apartments With No Linen Closet

Be innovative when storing linens in your apartment.

Apartment dwellers are familiar with not having enough storage space as most apartments lack it. If you live in an apartment that does not have a linen closet, there are ways to work around that. Employ alternative items that can be used to store linens. Does this Spark an idea?

Shoe Cabinet

A shoe cabinet can substitute for a linen closet. They tend to be fairly tall and not too wide. Store comforters, blankets and towels in shoe cabinets. Most have several drawers, allowing organization of linens by section. The small size makes them appropriate for an apartment with limited space.

Wardrobe

A wardrobe works well as a substitute closet in apartments large enough to accommodate a large piece of furniture. Most wardrobes have doors that open, with shelves and drawers inside. Wardrobes have a lot of storage space and are easy to organize.

Zippered Bags

Use the space under your bed to store linens in your apartment. Place sheets, pillowcases, comforters and towels in zippered bags. The bags contain items and prevent dust build-up.
