Keeping clothing neatly arranged in the closet can be hard enough. Add small accessories like shoes, ties and belts to the mix, and order is even harder to achieve. Whether you have an expansive walk-in closet or use a small wardrobe to store clothing and accessories, review the guidelines below to keep your belts accessible, wearable and organized. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Clean out your closet by separating belts from other clothes and accessories.

2. Lay belts flat to restore their original shape.

3. Assess your belt collection. Get rid of belts that are out of style or no longer fit.

4. Evaluate your closet space and dedicate an area to your belt collection. Factor in how many belts you have to allocate enough space.

5. Hook it up. Try wall-mounted hooks on the wall, wooden pegs or wall racks that contain multiple prongs for tidy belt storage.

6. Hang it up. Use store-bought belt holders equipped with hooks or create you own by clipping shower curtain hooks onto a standard clothes hanger.
