Make A Closet Divider

Closet dividers provide a way to organize closets. Making your own closet dividers allows you to customize the size and text on each divider. Dividers also give you a way to store clothing that is out of season or the wrong size in a way that you can still see what you own. Plastic closet dividers are sold in a variety of stores, but wooden dividers are less likely to break and are printable. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Sand wooden door hangers with a piece of fine sand paper. Sand the door hanger until it's smooth on all sides.

2. Paint the wooden door hangers using a sponge paint brush. Avoid smudges or drips of paint.

3. Allow the front side of the hanger to dry and then paint the back. Once both sides are dry, paint around the edges and allow the entire hanger to dry.

4. Paint the size or season of the clothing on each divider with a fine paint brush. Repeat the information on the back of the divider if you want.

5. Apply a coat of sealant on the entire divider after all the paint has dried. Allow the sealant to dry completely.
