Instructions
1. Use Fiverr to order simple 3-D projects. (See Resources.) Fiverr lists thousands of available projects, tasks and services and is home to many 3-D-related services that you can order for as little as $5. Use the built-in search feature to quickly locate and choose a project that meets your requirements. Fiverr also offers users the chance to create a service request that lets others in the community know about your 3-D needs.
2. Use oDesk to find a professional freelancer. (See Resources.) Create a full description of your 3-D project to post on oDesk. Professional freelancers will respond to the request and quote you a price to do the work. You can ask for additional references or examples of their work to help make an educated decision on who to choose. oDesk holds the payment in escrow until you are satisfied with the work you receive.
3. Contract someone on Elance to complete your 3-D project. (See Resources.) Elance gives you full control over the freelance selection process. Individuals respond to your job posting, and you choose the designer who offers the best price and design samples. The bidding aspect of the service virtually guarantees the lowest possible price as designers compete for your project. The built-in escrow service protects you from paying someone who delivers less than acceptable work.
