Hang A Mirrored Closet Door

Hang a Mirrored Closet Door

Home just isn't a home without lots of closet space. The best closets are those with wide openings that allow easy access to all inside. The challenge with these types of closets is getting a door wide enough to fit. One solution is sliding doors. They come in all styles and sizes. One of the most popular models, especially for bedrooms, is the mirrored closet door. Best of all, hanging a mirrored closet door is a simple do-it-yourself project. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Align the top of the door with the top track on the door frame. The top of the mirrored closet door will have a metal rod near the outside edge plus a roller wheel on the inside. The bottom of the door will not have a roller.

2. Fold the door and hold the door with two hands, one on the outside edge, the other in the center.

3. Tip the door so that the top rod can fit into the hole on the top rail. Push up on the door causing the upper rod to lock in place.

4. Pivot the lower half of the door onto the lower track and the lower rod into the bracket along the floor. Jiggle the door slightly to ensure that both upper and lower rods are locked in place.

5. Unfold the door and manually depress the roller on the top of the door. Align the roller under the track and release. The roller will pop into the track.
