Clean Cupboard Doors

Clean cabinets give the kitchen a polished look.

The kitchen is the heart of the home, and cabinets are the kitchen's crowning glory. Grease, dust, water spots and food particles landing on cupboard doors result in a dull appearance that detracts from the overall beauty of the kitchen. Although a little elbow grease goes a long way toward returning kitchen cupboards to their original glory, a few pointers can help prevent cabinet damage and improve the shine. Proper cleaning techniques will make the job a little easier, speeding you back on your way to beautiful cabinets and a polished kitchen. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

Cleaning Cabinets

1. Wet a soft cloth with warm water, and wipe the cupboards. If a stronger cleaner is needed, use mild dish detergent mixed with warm water or an equal ratio of vinegar and water. If the grime is really bad, use a cleaning product intended for cabinets or fine furniture, carefully following all package instructions and testing in an inconspicuous area.

2. Wipe a limited area of the cabinets with a small amount of the chosen cleaning product and a soft cloth or brush.

3. Rinse the cupboard doors with a small amount of water and a soft clean cloth.

4. Dry the cabinets with a soft cloth immediately. Proceed to the next area.

5. Dry water spots and clean all future spills immediately to maintain the cleanliness of the cupboard doors.
