Diy Tie & Belt Rack

Ties and belts are common accessories for women and men, though these accessories can be difficult to store because they must be hung and displayed so users can choose which one they would like to wear. Store-bought tie and belt storage is generally expensive, but a DIY storage for ties and belts is not difficult to put together. Does this Spark an idea?

In Closet Storage

Store your ties and belts in your closet by making a tie and belt rack for the inside of your closet door. Find a small dowel 2 inches in diameter. Cut it to the size of the inside of your door or the wall at the back of your closet. Attach loops of wire to each end of the dowel and tie the loops tightly. Use screws to secure the top of the wire loops to the closet door above where the dowel will hang. Store your ties and belts by hanging them over this dowel. You can see each of them and choose which one you would like to use. Lift on the dowel slightly to place a tie or belt on the dowel or to get one off of the dowel.

Convert Shoe Rack

Purchase a shoe holder that is meant to be hung on the back of your door. Hang the shoe rack on the back of your closet, bathroom or bedroom door. Make a slit in each of the plastic pieces that are meant to hold shoes. Store belts and ties in this rack by pulling the top of the tie or belt through the small slit and letting the rest of it hang down on the holder.
