Remove Doors With European Hinges

Eurpoean hinges are one way to hang cabinet doors without having the hinge in view. Many people do not use these types of hinges because they appear rather confusing at first glance. The European hinge is a spring type hinge that mounts on a plate. It usually has up to four separate screws for adjusting the door. Removing doors with European hinges requires no tools, and they are as simple to reinstall as they are to remove. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Open the door fully.

2. Place the tip of your finger on the end of the bar that attaches to the hinge mounting plate in the cabinet. Press the small spring-loaded end toward you.

3. Pull the door away from the opening until the hinge disengages from the mounting plate. Repeat for the next hinge and remove the door from the cabinet.
