Instructions

Install Peg Board for Storage

1. Measure the area you want to mount the pegboard. Locate the studs in the wall with a stud finder and mark their location.

2. Measure the pegboard to the size you are mounting and cut to fit.

3. Cut the wood strips to frame the pegboard. Include extra horizontal strips to serve as interior frame support columns.

4. Attach the frame to the wall with the 3" screws along the studs. Also attach the interior support columns.

5. Measure the pegboard and mark the location of the frame and support strips.

6. Mount the pegboard using the wood screws with washers. Washers are optional but can help to prevent the screws from cracking the pegboard under pressure.

7. Install hooks, mounts and holders as desired along the peg board.
