Organize Clothes Daily For A Toddler

Organizing clothes daily can help you save time.

With an active toddler in tow, finding time to accomplish everything within your waking hours can prove challenging. Since a toddler begins gaining independence during this stage of her life, you can set up an organizational system that allows her to retrieve her clothing and even -- sometimes successfully -- attempt to dress herself. Not only will this help her become more responsible, it saves you the time of retrieving the clothing each day and initiating your child's dressing routine. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Hang a sweater or shoe organizer from the closet rod in your child's closet. Make sure it has a compartment for each day of the week.

2. Work with your toddler to pick out outfits for each day of the week. He may show an interest in this activity, or not. Show him a couple of outfits -- shirt and pants or shorts -- and ask him which one he'd like to wear first. Put the one he picks in the "Monday" compartment.

3. Repeat Step 2 with your toddler until you've filled all of the compartments for the week with an outfit. Don't forget to place socks and underwear in each compartment.
