Relieve cluttered closets with hanging storage bags.
Maximizing closet space is a fine art. Closet storage bags enable folks to conserve space through compartmentalization. Storage bags also encase clothing items, helping to protect sweaters, dresses, suits and shoes. Because they are made with flexible materials, such as canvas or vinyl, storage bags are lightweight and highly manageable. Although they come in a variety of styles, storage bags are typically designed to hang from the closet dowel rod. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
1. Remove packaged or folded up storage bags. Elongate and lay them out. Allow them to relax before hanging.
2. Determine the most appropriate place in the closet to hang the storage bag. If the storage bag is for items that are not frequently needed, such as guest blankets and linens, place the storage bag to the side or back of the closet. If the storage bag is for things that need to be accessed on a regular basis, such as shoes, place the storage bag near the entrance where it is in easy reach.
3. Locate the hanging devices at the top of the storage bags. Storage bags are equipped with either metal hooks or a Velcro-lined flap.
4. Hang the storage bags. For hooks, slip the hooks over the dowel rod and pull them apart so they are evenly spaced and the storage bag is fully stretched open. For flaps, pull the flap up and around the dowel rod, forming a loop. Line up the Velcro strip on the end of the flap to the Velcro strip on the base of the flap. Press the strips firmly together to secure the loop around the dowel rod.
