Donating Clothes to Catholic Charities in New Jersey
1. Donate to St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, which is located in the city of Princeton, New Jersey. St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church's convent has an Office of Religious Education, which is the designated spot for dropping off clothing donations. Apart from clothes, the church also accepts donations of personal products including razors, shampoo, soap, body wash, lotion, toothbrushes and toothpaste. All of the donated items are distributed throughout the year at the Trenton Soup Kitchen.
2. Make a donation to Catholic Community Services. Catholic Community Services is an organization that has two locations in New Jersey; one in Paramus and the other in Newark. The organization has a "suit yourself" program that is focused on helping dress impoverished individuals that are going back to work. Business-friendly attire is recommended.
3. Donate to the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Metuchen, which is based in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. The Catholic Charities Diocese of Metuchen has a material needs assistance program which requires donations of basic needs, such as clothing. Apart from standard, everyday apparel, business-style clothing donations are also recommended by the organization. Donations can be made by dropping off items at the organization office.
