Tighten A Tie Rack

Tighten the tension of your tie rack either by hand or with a screwdriver.

Tie racks help keep your neckties organized, pressed and in easy reach. There are a variety of tie racks available, many of which are designed to fit either over the existing rack in your closet or on the back of the closet door. Some tie racks are automatic, rotating until the tie that you want passes into view. Others require that you spin the rack by hand to find the tie you want. In either case, there is a point on the structure of the tie rack where you can tighten the tension. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Locate the tension knob on your tie rack. It will be found on the clamp or mechanism that mounts the tie rack.

2. Turn the tension knob, wing nut or screw in a clockwise direction to tighten it.

3. Tighten the tie rack gradually until you reach the desired level of tension. The tie rack should rotate freely but should not wobble where it is mounted.
