Donate Computers In Miami Florida

People living in Miami can donate their used computers to a variety of organizations in the area that specialize in recycling computer equipment, including the Education Fund, a program dedicated to helping local schools achieve academic excellence. Their FamilyTech initiative allows students and parents to learn marketable skills through technology education. They have distributed over 10,000 computers to Miami-Dade students and given over 500 computers to schools.


Instructions


1. Go to the Education Fund's website, which can be found at educationfund.org. Click on the link "For Donors" and select "Donate Computers" from the drop-down menu.


2. Select the link entitled, "Donate Computer Equipment" from the menu on the right of the page under "Related Information."


3. Complete the required fields. This includes donor information such as first name, last name, company, phone number, address and email address. Fill in the section titled" Donation Information" and include the number of computers that you wish to donate, the specifications, including processor speed and the number of monitors. You will also need to estimate the total dollar value of all items. Answer the Captcha question and hit the "Submit Form" button.


4. Phone the Education Fund directly, if you would like to arrange your donation by speaking to a representative. Call 305-892-5099 and say "I want to make a donation to the Family Tech program."
