Simplify Your Office Wardrobe

Simplifying your wardrobe will make it easy to maintain and save you time in the mornings

Instructions

1. Basic clothing works best for office apparel. I tend to stick to basic colors such as black, white, grey, tan and navy. These colors pair well with each other.

2. start off by clearing your closet of any outgrown clothes or those "someday I will fit into it items"... you know what I'm talking about ladies. If you have it worn the item in over 3 years its time to donate it to someone that can use it. The only exception to the rule is for evening dresses that still fit.

3. Repair or alter any items to give them a tailored look.

4. Now that your closet is organized with clothing that actually fits you may have room for some extra items. Invest in white collared shirts (wrinkle free), quality trousers in basic colors: tan, grey, black. A few business jackets in basic colors, slight pen stripes are ok. These items tend to have a long fashion life.

5. Avoid trendy items such as excessively decorated designs, wild colors or patterns

6. Add a couple of accent pieces to your wardrobe such as pastel shirts that can be added under a business suit for color. Your accessories will be what puts the outfit together and gives a clean appearance.
