Place calls, send text messages and capture video footage with the compact Nokia 6126 flip phone. The 6126 also features an alarm clock, a voice recorder, a Web browser, Bluetooth technology, a stopwatch, games, a calendar and multi-message options. After the 6126 is charged and a memory card is installed, you might need to know make a phone call, capture an image or access music files.
Instructions
1. Flip open the 6126 and enter the 10-digit phone number of the person you wish to call using the numbered keypad. Press the green "Call" key on the left side of the keypad to send the call. When the call is finished, press the red "End Call" key on the right side of the keypad.
2. Press the 6126 soft key beneath "Menu" on the screen to access the main menu. After that, use the "Navigation" key to select "Contacts" and "Names." Scroll to highlight the contact you wish to call or enter the first five characters of the name you wish to call using the keypad. When the contact you wish to call is highlighted, press the green "Call" key to call her.
3. Push the soft key beneath "Menu" and select "Messaging," "Create Message" and "Text Message." In the "To" field, enter the phone number or contact information of the person you wish to text. In the "Message" field, write a message by pressing the numbered keys that represent the letters you wish to use. Push the soft key beneath "Send" to send the text.
4. Push the soft key beneath "Menu" to access the 6126 main menu, then use the "Navigator" key to select "Media" and "Camera." Hold the camera horizontally to take a landscape picture, or vertically to capture a portrait. Use the "Navigator" button to toggle between "Capture" mode for an image or "Record" mode for a movie. Frame the subject in the screen and press the "Camera" key on the right edge of the phone to capture an image. Press the "Camera" button to start capturing video, if the camera is in video mode, and press "Camera" again to stop recording.
5. Press the soft key beneath "Menu" to open the 6126 main menu and select "Music Player" to listen to MP3s. The first music file appears on the screen. Use the "Navigator" button to select "Play," "Stop," "Rewind" and "Fast Forward." Press the "Volume" keys on the left side of the phone to adjust the volume.
