Use Vacuum Bags For Linen Storage

Vacuum bags will help you organize a linen closet.

Linen cabinets can become overcrowded, disorganized spaces, making it difficult to find what you are looking for when you need it. Linens shoved into a closet are also susceptible to odor absorption and bug infestation. Storing linens in vacuum bags protects the linens and frees up space in the linen closet. Vacuum bags allow you to suck the air out of the bag, decreasing the size of the package and protecting the linens from odors. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Separate your linens into categories so you can store like items together. Make separate piles for towels, sheets and tablecloths.

2. Fill one vacuum bag with one type of linen. If you have several pieces you need to store, you may need more than one vacuum bag for each type of item.

3. Zip the vacuum bag shut. Insert the vacuum hose attachment into the nozzle on the bag and turn on the vacuum. Leave the vacuum on until it removes all the air from the bag and the bag stops shrinking in size. Turn off the vacuum and remove the vacuum hose. Repeat this with each vacuum bag of linens.

4. Place the vacuum bags in the linen closet or stack them under your bed.
