Clean Grease From Kitchen Cabinet Doors


Grease stains have a tendency to go unnoticed, allowing them to build up to seemingly impossible proportions. These grease stains can damage the wood of your cabinets if allowed to remain for a long period of time. However, as unpleasnat as these stains may seem, they are easily remedied. Does this Spark an idea?


Instructions


1. Mix 2 tablespoons of dish soap with 2 cups of warm water and scrub the cabinet with a clean cloth, following the grain of the wood. Rinse the area clean with a sponge, and dry it with a clean towel.


2. Sprinkle baking soda onto a clean damp cloth and scrub the cabinet. Rinse with a clean sponge, and dry the area with a clean dry towel.


3. Mix half a cup of borax, two teaspoons laundry soap powder, one tablespoon of ammonia and warm water in a spray bottle. Spray the mixture onto the cabinets and wipe them clean.


4. Mix a combination of equal parts lime and club soda to wipe the cabinets free of grease, using a soft clean cloth. Dry with a soft towel.


5. Mix vinegar and water and clean the cabinets, using a sponge or soft clean cloth. If the grease won't come off, use only vinegar.
