There are countless ways to make gold on Gaia Online.
There are a variety of ways to earn gold on Gaia Online. Everything you do on the site will earn you gold, but some activities are worth more than others. The more of them you do, the faster you'll get 100K. If you do all of them, you could earn more than 100K.
Instructions
1. Play the Daily Chance Cart. Everyday, you get six chances to play the Daily Chance Cart and win random prizes. The prizes include gold, clothing, game tokens and other items. Everything you win can be sold on the Marketplace to earn gold. The Daily Chance Cart looks like an animated claw game and it appears at the top right of the screen on each of the six main pages: Home, My Gaia, Shops, Forums, World and Games.
2. Comment and vote in Forums. There is a list of popular topics on the bottom left of the Home page for quick access and the Forums page has seven categories that each have three to 10sub-categories of chat threads. Commenting will give you one to 200 gold. Voting on polls in the forums can give you up to 15 gold. Also, creating a chat thread can give you more gold than posting in someone else's thread.
3. Walk around Towns and click on trees, bushes and rock. They will shake and drop gold. You can get to Towns by clicking on it in the Games or World pages.
4. Play games on the Games page. There are several types of games. OMG Pop games earn you gold and let you compete against other Gaians in several different games. Use tokens from the Daily Chance Cart to gamble on Slots or Cards and earn tickets. Tickets can also be earned from the Tiles game. Dumpster Dive will give you random items that can be sold for gold. Jigsaw, Wordbump, Pinball and Love Factori earn you gold and can be played by yourself or in a chat room with other Gaians.
5. Go fishing. Buy a fishing rod and some bait from The Ole Fishin' Hole on the Shops page. Then, go to the Games page and click on Fishing.
6. Play Zomg. Zomg is Gaia Online's RPG and you can find it on the Games page. The game starts with a tutorial and some quests. Then, you can team up with other Gaians to kill monsters and earn gold.
7. Participate in special events. "Gaia" Online often announces special events that will give you gold or free items. Holiday events are big and last several days. Sponsorship events are small and last several weeks or months. Big events will earn you a lot of gold and give you one or more items that usually go way up in value on the Marketplace. Small events only give one or two items but you might be able to get multiples. Always get multiples of free items when you have the chance because they might increase in value after the event is over.
8. Sell items in the Marketplace. To sell an item, click "sell item" in the My Store box on the right side of the screen in the Marketplace. You can also sell an item by going to the My Gaia page and clicking on "Avatar." Then, click on Full Inventory at the bottom of the clothing inventory box and click on the item you want to sell. Click on "Sell on Marketplace" and set the duration, listing type and price.
9. Watch videos that earn you Gaia Cash. You'll only earn one to five Gaia Cash per video, but they add up over time. Research which Cash Shop items are going for the most money on the Marketplace. Buy the Cash Shop item that you can sell for the most gold. Birthstone Sashes only cost 50 Gaia Cash and may sell for 15,000 to 30,000 gold (as of May 2011).
10. Earn tickets by playing Tiles. Tickets can only be spent in the Prize and Joy shop. Research which Prize and Joy items are going for the most gold on the Marketplace. Use your tickets to buy the Prize and Joy item that will sell for the most gold. The item worth the most gold will not always be the item that costs the most tickets. You can also earn tickets by using tokens from the Daily Chance Cart to play Slots.
11. Play Booty Grab. Click on glowing aquariums in the Gaia Aquarium forum and play the mini game that pops up.
12. Make drawings based on the avatars of other players and sell them for gold. The Forums has a section dedicated to art shops.
