Organize Your Bedroom Closet

Organize Your Bedroom Closet

Alright you have put it off long enough that you know have clothes and other items making their way out of your closet due to the fact it is time to get organized. Though if your like me you know how hard it can be trying to figure out where the heck to begin and after many trial and error set backs I finally came up with a step by step plan to help degut my closet with this steps found below. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Get out a marker and write on two seperate boxes "Give away" and "Put away" and go through all the stuff placing the items you need/use into the "Put away" box. Now if you haven's used an item found in your closet for almost a year it is time to place it in the "Give away box" and take it to your local goodwill.

2. Wash and fold all of your out of season clothes and place them into clothing storage bins. Often times these bins are clear so you can see what's inside and allow your clothes to breathe. Only keep the clothes that you like and aren't too worn out.

3. Now remove all other items if you havent done so already and place a double up adjustable closet rod on the existing rod. You will find that this will doubble the amount of hanging space that you have.

4. It is time to hang the clothes that are in season on non-slip hangers and be sure to organize them by any catergory of your choice.

5. Place the clothing storage bins on the floor of the closet.

6. If you have shoes place them in a shoe organizer you can hang it on something in the back of your closet out of sight.

7. Place all of your purses or other accessories on the top shelf.
