Interphone Instructions

Use your cell phone on your motorcylce and communicate with another rider with an Interphone.

The Interphone is a Bluetooth headset produced by Cellular Line for use on motorcycle and biking helmets. It is designed for both Bluetooth connectivity to your cell phone and as an intercom between other Interphones up to 150 unobstructed meters away. The design function to operate the Interphone is extremely user friendly.

Instructions

Pairing with a Bluetooth Phone

1. Turn the Interphone off. If the LED light is illuminated, the device is on. Hold down the "multi-function" button--the large circular button on the side of the device--for approximately five seconds. The device will make a series of sounds. Release the button on the third sound. It will power down after a series of LED light flashings.

2. Ready the Interphone for pairing. With the Interphone off, hold down the "multi-function" button for about five seconds. This will cause the device to emit two sounds. During the second sound, let the button go. The LED light should begin flashing from red to blue.

3. Enable your cell phone's Bluetooth function. Go into your phone's Bluetooth menu and turn it on. The exact method varies depending on the cell phone. To find out do so, consult your phone's instruction manual.

4. Select the device from your cell phone. When the Bluetooth function is enabled on your phone, it will begin a search for any nearby available Bluetooth devices. Select "STMOTO."

5. Enter the password. When your phone asks for a password enter, "0000." Doing so will link the two devices, as long as they stay powered on and in range of one another.

6. Answer a call. Simply saying anything, such as "Hello" in the first 10 seconds of an incoming call will automatically answer a call. Saying nothing will reject the call.

Sync with Another Interphone

7. Ready the Interphones for pairing. With each Interphone off, hold down the "multi-function" button for about five seconds. This will cause the devices to emit two sounds. During the second sound, let the button go; the LED light should begin flashing from red to blue.

8. Sync one of the devices. On one device (it doesn't matter which) hold down the "Volume +" button located on the top side of the device, for about five seconds. You will hear four beeps, after which the LED and the device will turn off. Release the button. Turn back on the device.

9. Sync the other device. On the other device, hold down the "Volume --", located on the bottom side of the device, for about five seconds. You will again hear four beeps, after which the LED light on the first device will power down. Turn back on the first device to complete the syncing process.
