Frito-Lay has been making chips since 1932.
Frito-Lay is a company employing 48,000 people as of 2011. The company is part of the PepsiCo brand and produces 34 popular snacks including Lay's Potato Chips, Doritos, Tostitos, Cheetos, Fritos, Sun Chips and Funyuns. PepsiCo offers careers for people interested in working for the Frito-Lay division at the corporate level, as well as both full- and part-time jobs for people interested in working at manufacturing and operating facilities or as drivers.
Instructions
1. Visit Fritolay.com and click on the "Careers" tab on the far right corner of the page.
2. Determine if you would like to apply for a corporate job as a professional or new college graduate, or if you would prefer to apply for an hourly job. Click on the respective link.
3. Click on the "Frito-Lay" icon if you chose an hourly job and answer each question, clicking "Next" to take you to a new question. If a position is available in your area, the website will list the positions. If there are no positions available, the website will inform you.
4. Click on the "Search Jobs by Location" tab if you chose a professional or new college graduate job. Find your location on the map and click it. If your location is not highlighted in orange, Frito-Lay does not have locations in your area.
5. Click on the position you are interested in. Read the job description and click on the "Apply Now" tab.
6. Fill in all of the questions and hit "Next" to be directed to a new screen.
7. Upload your resume and cover letter when prompted.
8. Review your application and click "Submit" when prompted to do so.
