Wall decals are large, beautiful pieces of art that stick right onto your wall. They come in many designs, sizes, shapes and colors. Wall decals are a good alternative to using a large painting in your walk-in closet, spicing up a bland wall without consuming any space.
Purses
Some people consider beautiful purses works of art. For purses with stiff handles, put hooks up on the walls of the walk-in closet and hang one purse on each hook. If the purse has a soft handle, it is better to put them on one single shelf along the top of the closet or on individual shelves so you do not damage the original form of the handle. If they are extremely delicate and fragile, purchase a glass case to go around each one. If you still use the purses, the cases can serve double duty as organization and décor.
Baby Clothes
If you still have some of your own baby clothes or you have some from your child, have your favorite pieces framed individually and hang them on your closet wall. By displaying them instead of simply keeping them in a drawer, you'll find that they bring back memories each time you look at them.
Shoes
Some shoes, like some purses, are works of art. Put up one long shelf, or individual shelves, on your closet wall where you can put your most beautiful pairs. If you have shoes you no longer wear but still love, make an art piece out of them. Use a strong glue to glue them in a pinwheel design on a piece of square wood that you can hang on the wall.

Some clothing ads, which you can purchase on an online auction site, are perfect as artwork. Hanging them on your walk-in closet wall is a tribute to some of the amazing clothing designs and ads of the past. Have each ad framed, or purchase them already framed, so they are easier to hang and will stay intact over time.
