Stand Alone Dvd Duplicators That Don'T Need A Computer

Creating copies of your information on DVD is a simple process with a stand-alone DVD duplicator.

The advent of DVDs and at-home DVD burners has made sharing information and large files much easier. Photos, movies and music can be burned onto the discs and sold, given away or stored as backups. DVD duplicators are available as stand-alone units that are self-contained and don't require a computer.

TEAC America, Inc.

TEAC America offers stand-alone DVD duplicators that can create up to 15 copies at a time. Towers are also available with three, seven or 10 copy drives, and all units can automatically identify the type of blank DVD inserted for optimal writing. No cool-down period is necessary, and with writing speeds ranging from 16X to 18X, these duplicators make for a faster and more continuous copy workflow.

Aleratec

Aleratec's selection of stand-alone DVD duplicators include units that produce one copy at a time as well as a model that can copy up to 100 DVDs. Some models can simultaneously burn images and labels directly onto the LightScribe discs as it copies the master DVD. Each DVD duplicator features 20X writing speed, and some offer a built-in hard drive.

SharkCopier

SharkCopier offers the most advanced stand-alone DVD duplicator on the market. It is capable of being connected to a computer for greater capabilities, including custom copy protection encryption. Models are available for recording onto Blu-Ray, LightScribe or Dual Layer discs, and all units are protected against heat and dust by an aluminum casing. A built-in memory of up to 256MB is available, depending on the model.

SlimMicro

The SlimMicro stand-alone DVD duplicator offers everything the SharkCopier series does but in a smaller and more convenient size for travel. These duplicators can be used as stand-alone units or connected to a computer via a USB cord for a more direct and convenient conduit for transferring master files and content.
