Instructions
Ladder
1. Wash a wooden stepladder and allow it to dry. Sand the wood with sandpaper to roughen the surface so it will accept paint.
2. Paint the stepladder with two coats of latex enamel paint to coordinate with your bathroom decor. Use a paint designed for bathrooms. This will protect the wood from warping.
3. Set up the ladder along one wall of your bathroom. Set a folded towel on each step of the ladder. Hand towels can be placed on the support bars on the back of the ladder. Set a basket on the top of the ladder to hold hand towels and wash cloths.
Wine Rack
4. Purchase a metal wine rack --- the kind designed to hold six to 12 bottles of wine on a kitchen counter top.
5. Set the wine rack on the bathroom counter, the floor or even on top of the toilet water tank. You can also use wood screws to fasten it to the wall. Drill holes in the wall, insert the wood screws and tighten, leaving approximately 1/8 inches of the screw protruding from the wall. Hang the wine rack on these screws.
6. Roll each bath towel into a cylinder. Insert one rolled towel into each slot meant to hold a wine bottle. Place several wash cloths or hand towels in a single slot.
