The flushing lever cannot be over 44 inches above the floor. The guidelines specify that the wide side of the toilet tank hold the lever, most commonly found on the right side of the tank.
Grab Bar Height
When grab bars are installed in handicapped stalls, they need to meet specific diameter requirements and distance from the wall. UFAS does not specify the distance from the floor to the water closet. The grab bar must have a diameter of 1.25 inches to 1.5 inches. The clearance between the wall and the grab bar needs to be 1.5 inches.
Urinals
The bottom lip of urinals needs to be 17 inches from the floor, whether the urinals are floor or wall mounted inside or outside of stalls.
