The Wave Sport Super EZ was introduced in 2002. This model was used in a number of rodeo and team paddling competitions. Most notably, the Super EZ was used to win the 2002 Freestyle World Championship. The boat acceleration is low, but the shorter boat length allows the Wave Sport Super EZ to attain speed quickly from a stopped position. The boat has a moderate safety rating in situations of impact, quick exiting of the boat and retrieval of a trapped boat.
Features and Outfitting
The Wave Sport Super EZ offers rigid foot support in the bulkhead, or front of the boat. The D-bone welded, in-seat track provides hull rigidity and horizontal stability. Safety step out walls enable easier exiting capability in case of emergency. Accessories include thigh braces for boat control, hip pads for a tiger fit, adjustable back support and a spray skirt for a water-tight seal in case of rolling.
