Coupons are becoming more popular as the economy weakens and consumers look for a way to save some money. It is very important to be well organized when trying to save. Here are some tips for using a coupon organizer.

1. Coupons can really save you a large amount of money, but in order to save the most money possible you must have a coupon organizer of some kind. Keeping all the coupons you are going to use is impossible without some kind of system.
2. There are multiple places online or in the stores to buy coupon organizers. Some call themselves a coupon organizer while others call themselves a coupon organizer wallet. These can be helpful, but remember you are having to spend money on this as well.
3. If you want a free coupon organizer I suggest making it yourself. It isn't terribly difficult and it will be absolutely up to you as to how you would like to organize everything. Start with a three ring binder and buy baseball cardholders that are typically used to hold nine baseball cards in each plastic sleeve. Also buy some small mailing labels so you can label each page. Dividers aren't absolutely necessary, but having something to split up the sections will certainly make it easier.
4. Get out a sharpie and start labeling whatever you are using for your section dividers. You can sort them however you wish, but something along the lines of dairy products, juices or drinks, and health care/beauty are ideas for topic headings.
5. Each Sunday when you clip the coupons place them in their respectable section, but place the coupons that need to be used soonest at the front. This is important because you don't want the ones expiring to get thrown in the back where you won't see them.
6. When you go to the grocery store use this grocery coupon organizer to help you pickup items that are on sale and then use coupons on top of that to get a great deal. You will be organized when you go through the checkout at the grocery store and the clerk will appreciate it as well. Save some money by organizing those coupons!
