When there's a new baby, the one thing you'll appreciate is organization. Learn some great tips on keep your baby's nursery neat, clean and organized.
Instructions
1. Utilize the space under your baby's crib. Some cribs come with an under the crib drawer that is great for storing baby linens and other crib parts. If you have a convertible crib, it may come with other parts to convert it. You can utilize this space for those things so they are not lost between now and the time you need them. This space can also be used for manuals to all of your other baby items.
2. Use the space under the baby's changing table. Store excess baby items such as diaper refills, wipe refills, lotions, shampoos and oils. This makes sure that all of the items are at arms reach when they need to be replenished without leaving baby's side. This space can also house towels and washcloths.
3. Organize your baby's closet. The closet can be used for larger items such as a baby tub, an extra car seat, extra packs of diapers and any toys that the baby can not use yet. Instead of purchasing hangers you can buy an upright closet organizer for the baby's onesies and things that can be folded. Hangers can be saved for items that you would like to remain wrinkle free.
4. Use bookshelves for additional shelving space. Not just for books, bookshelves may be used for wipe warmers, pictures, stuffed animals and small toys. Upright bookshelves are great space savers for baby's nursery.
5. Save even more space on your bookshelves with baskets and crates. You can put baby's socks, booties, small toys, hair accessories and other small things in the baskets.
6. Buy an actual organizer. Organizers like the one shown are portable and great for bath time items. Anything that you may need for both nursery and another room can go in here. This goes well next to the changing table and can be used for diapers and wipes, nighttime clothes, onesies, bibs and unused bottles.
