Fastest Way To Scan Photos To Digital

While actual, hard copies of photographs can be great, scanning them to digital copies allows you to share them with friends, family members and the entire world in an instant over the Internet. If you don't have a scanner in your home, the fastest way to scan photos to digital would be to locate a copy shop and pay to have a professional do this for you. This will be cheaper and faster than buying a scanner and hooking it up.

Instructions

1. Take your photos to Staples. Use the store locator on the company's website to find a Staples location in your area based on your address (See References). Take your photographs into the Staples Copy and Print Center and have an associate transfer them to digital format for you. The total cost depends on the number of photos you have. Should you so choose, you can also buy a scanner for your home computer at the same location.

2. Go to FedEx Office online (See References). FedEx Office locators include both a shipping and a copy and print center in the same building. Just like with Staples, you can take your photographs into the FedEx Office location in your area and have someone there transfer them to digital format for a fee based on the total number of photos you are copying.

3. Use a Walmart with a Photo Center. Open the Store Locator on Walmart's website and type in your address (See References). Check Photo Center and click Find. Take your photos to the Walmart location listed on screen and have your pictures converted into the digital format. Certain Walmart photo centers also have kiosks set up allowing you to scan your photos to digital copies yourself without the need for an employee.
